Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival
This annual festival showcases musicianship, craftsmanship, stewardship, and friendship. The festival is nestled amongst the 4,000 acre Laurel Hill State Park in beautiful Somerset County. This location creates an ideal connection for visitors to enjoy their surroundings in a family friendly environment.
Glades Pike Winery
Glades Pike Winery's new 13,000 sq.ft. facility, which opened its doors in the Fall of 2002, is nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania on the historic Glades Pike (Route 31) just a few miles from Seven Springs & Hidden Valley resorts. Upstairs is our large tasting room, gift shop and banquet hall. Downstairs houses the winemaking operation and storage.
Stahlstown Flax Scutching Festival
Held in September, The Flax Scutching Festival features descendants of the Ligonier Valley pioneers recreating the art of making linen from the flax plant. The festival includes detailed demonstrations of making linen from flax, pioneer crafts, antique farm equipment, hay rides, food, wagon train and Civil War encampments, live entertainment and a staged Indian Raid.
Stone Villa Wine Cellars
Located in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Stone Villa Wine Cellars rests in the foothills of Chestnut Ridge in the Appalachian Mountains. Among the scattered farms and small businesses you can find us on a large 150 acre plot. Included in the scenery of Stone Villa is a two and a half acre lake and wonderful landscaping which is breathtaking in all seasons.
